Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Perform routine site preparation, including digging, mounting, and fastening conduit and wiring.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with OSHA and local building codes.
- Test electrical systems to ensure they function correctly and safely.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and physical environments (climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects).
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety standards.
