Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Adhere to strict NEC (National Electrical Code) and safety standards
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex projects
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical faults
- Document work progress and maintain project records
- Participate in ongoing skills development and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to work in various conditions (heights, confined spaces)
- Commitment to safety and willingness to follow protocols
- No prior electrical experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to travel within the Austin metro area
