Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints under supervision.
- Tool Management: Properly handle, maintain, and organize electrical tools and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by digging trenches, pulling wire, and mounting outlets and fixtures.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally, providing updates on progress and answering basic inquiries.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring debris is removed after every job.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and potential overtime during peak seasons.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Background: No prior electrical experience is required; we value attitude and work ethic over experience.
