Our team handles a diverse range of residential and commercial plumbing projects throughout the Washington DC metro area. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all work meets local code requirements.
Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, drains, faucets, and water heaters.
- Diagnosis: Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues using modern diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Project Management: Review blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and layout specifications.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain problems and provide cost estimates.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with DC and National Plumbing Codes.
- Emergency Response: Respond to after-hours emergency calls as part of the on-call rotation.
- Tools & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid District of Columbia Journeyman or Master Plumber license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Skills: Proficient in pipefitting, welding, soldering, and use of hand/power tools.
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid, current driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; technical certification in plumbing preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
