Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical work.
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Install, connect, and test wiring, circuits, and electrical components such as switches, outlets, and transformers.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Document all work performed and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior experience required; however, basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
