Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, bending conduit, and terminating electrical boxes.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tool organization and site cleanup.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Utilize electrical testing equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot system issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willingness to obtain a Journeyman Electrician license and pass drug screenings.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
