Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates on project status.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adhere to strict safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- No prior experience required; we train our apprentices.
