Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with wiring, conduit installation, and circuit testing
- Follow blueprints and technical specifications for residential/commercial projects
- Perform safety checks and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Learn and apply National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
- Install lighting fixtures, outlets, and electrical panels under supervision
- Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment safely
- Document work progress and material usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain electrician license within 18 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Virginia
- Pass background check and drug screening
