Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting under supervision
- Ensure all work adheres to NEC and local safety regulations
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively
- Participate in on-the-job training and skill development sessions
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to stand, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout DC/MD/VA
- Willingness to complete 40-hour OSHA training
