Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including stripping wire, connecting circuits, and installing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper organization of tools, materials, and vehicles.
- Transport equipment and materials to job sites safely and efficiently.
- Document completed work orders and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience necessary; we provide paid on-the-job training and mentorship.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of math and measurements.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to adhering to strict safety standards.
