Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation of electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and component assembly under supervision
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks using testing equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Document work progress and complete daily task reports
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – we provide comprehensive training
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to obtain Michigan electrician apprentice license within 6 months
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
