Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial installations, including wiring, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit to perform labor-intensive tasks; must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Willingness to learn and obtain an Electrical Journeyman license within 2-3 years.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
