Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations and site preparation.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols strictly.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards at the end of the shift.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and job specifications when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
