Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including mounting outlets, switches, and fixtures under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and organize inventory.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school background is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical requirements.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure upon completion of apprenticeship.
