Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams under supervision.
- Perform routine inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites and assist with inventory management.
- Respond to service calls and complete assigned tasks within the scheduled timeframe.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
