Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, stripping conductors, and terminating devices.
- Install and maintain electrical components, including conduits, panels, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Keep work sites clean, organized, and safe in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals).
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and obtain journeyman status.
