Responsibilities
- Install and repair residential plumbing systems under supervision
- Assist with pipe fitting, fixture installation, and drain cleaning
- Perform diagnostic testing on water heaters and HVAC systems
- Maintain clean and safe job sites following OSHA standards
- Complete apprenticeship training modules and skill assessments
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate with homeowners
- Use and maintain plumbing tools and equipment properly
- Adhere to local building codes and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to complete paid apprenticeship program (3-5 years)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Jacksonville
- Pass background check and drug screening
