Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Learn and apply plumbing codes, safety standards, and proper tool usage
- Diagnose basic plumbing issues under supervision (leaks, clogs, fixture repairs)
- Prepare job sites, transport materials, and maintain clean work areas
- Document service activities and maintain inventory of tools/parts
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with homeowners
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and emergency calls
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Team player with positive attitude and commitment to safety
