Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, excavation, and material handling using heavy machinery and hand tools
- Execute concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks with precision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Collaborate with skilled tradespersons (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) on complex projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Operate power tools and equipment including saws, drills, and forklifts
- Perform daily site cleanup and waste management procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and extended hours
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
