Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams for precise circuit layouts
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead apprentice electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Perform safety inspections and documentation
- Collaborate with contractors for seamless project execution
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Michigan Journeyman Electrician license
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC and Detroit building codes
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with energy-efficient systems a plus
