Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential/commercial plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools and provide accurate solutions
- Adhere to all local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of assignments
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings
- Provide exceptional customer service and explain technical solutions clearly
- Manage inventory of plumbing materials and order necessary supplies
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional plumbing experience
- Valid Illinois plumbing license (required)
- Proficiency in pipefitting, drain cleaning, and fixture installation
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and water treatment
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Physical stamina for confined space work and heavy lifting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
