Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) and assist with heavy machinery operation
- Read blueprints and follow instructions from supervisors to ensure project specifications
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Assist in pouring concrete, laying foundations, and framing structures
- Perform cleanup and waste management throughout the workday
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to maintain workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or physical labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous tasks in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety standards
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced team environments
