Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand tools (hammers, saws, drills) and light equipment (compactors, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled tradesmen with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Participate in daily team briefings and project planning sessions
- Complete timecards and safety documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Must be punctual and dependable with strong work ethic
