Responsibilities
- Lead strategic innovation roadmap for 2026+ technology horizons
- Architect cross-disciplinary R&D projects combining quantum, biotech, and AI domains
- Manage portfolio of 5-8 moonshot initiatives with $2M+ annual budgets
- Partner with academic institutions and government labs for breakthrough research
- Present findings to C-suite and external stakeholders including UN tech committees
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams of engineers, futurists, and domain experts
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in future-tech strategy
- Proven track record scaling moonshot projects from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in computational science, engineering, or related field
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
