Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Lead the strategic planning process to identify and integrate critical emerging technologies that will define the industry landscape by 2026.
- Predictive R&D: Oversee research initiatives in generative AI, edge computing, and sustainable energy technologies to create a competitive advantage.
- Technical Architecture: Design scalable, future-proof architectures that can adapt to rapid technological shifts and evolving regulatory environments.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Guide a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical visions to C-suite executives and investors, translating jargon into compelling business value.
- Talent Acquisition: Recruit top-tier talent specialized in next-generation technologies to bolster the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, technical strategy, or R&D leadership.
- Forecasting Expertise: Proven track record of identifying and successfully implementing emerging tech trends (e.g., AI, Web3, IoT) before they become mainstream.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and technology gap analysis.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
