Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling futuristic solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation hubs
- Present technology visions to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Drive R&D initiatives in sustainable tech and ethical AI frameworks
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record launching successful future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management preferred
- Strong presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
