Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in next-gen AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with transformational potential
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate futuristic innovations into core business strategy
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget across 3-4 major projects
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile development of prototype solutions
- Present strategic visions to investors, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Drive patent development and IP protection for proprietary innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record scaling AI/ML or quantum computing solutions
- MBA or MS in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or sustainable tech
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $3M annually
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ disruptive technology launches
