- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Develop market entry strategies for experimental technologies with $50M+ commercial potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and government innovation initiatives
- Present disruptive technology forecasts to executive board and venture capital partners
- Secure $20M+ in R&D funding through grant writing and investor pitches
- Anticipate ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop governance frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms or neural networks
- Track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (minimum 3 exits >$100M)
- Expertise in ISO 42001 AI governance frameworks and IEEE Ethical Design standards
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Q# or Qiskit)
- Deep understanding of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC candidates)
- Experience securing SBIR grants and DARPA partnerships
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TFOR) or equivalent strategic innovation methodology
