Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Identify and evaluate breakthrough technologies with commercialization potential
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align on future tech adoption strategies
- Manage innovation portfolios with $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Present futuristic tech insights to executive leadership and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting 2026+ landscape
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching tech-forward products/services
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience with scenario planning and future forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
