Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological innovations across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps with measurable KPIs for emerging tech adoption
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies
- Present disruptive innovation strategies to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for high-potential experimental projects
- Drive thought leadership through industry publications and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex tech into business value
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., Google Quantum AI, AWS ML Specialty)
