Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and autonomous systems
- Collaborate with C-suite executives on strategic technology investments
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget across 15+ concurrent projects
- Present findings to industry panels and publish thought leadership papers
- Mentor a 12-person future tech incubation team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ in executive leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- Proven track record launching breakthrough tech products (AI/quantum/blockchain)
- Expertise in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE)
- Experience with global tech policy development (UN ITU, OECD)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/Go preferred)
