Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI ethics, quantum applications, neuro-interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional teams building prototype systems for 2026 deployment
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends in biotech, AI, and space tech
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on tech evolution scenarios
- Partner with MIT and Stanford on $50M+ research initiatives
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with Fortune 500 or Big Tech experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, or Futuristics
- Proven track record launching future-focused products (quantum/AI/neurotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and emerging regulations
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Experience securing federal grants for R&D initiatives
