Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen tech solutions (AI, quantum, AR/VR)
- Analyze emerging tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify first-mover advantages
- Drive innovation through incubation labs and strategic partnerships with academic institutions
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members with data-backed recommendations
- Mentor senior technologists and foster culture of radical innovation within the organization
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through compelling tech investment proposals
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or C-suite technology leadership
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR)
- Experience leading $100M+ digital transformation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with PhD preferred
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, Wired, etc.)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Institute for the Future)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
