Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for 2026 technology adoption across quantum AI, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment and quantum-resistant security
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental technology incubation
- Drive culture of 'future-back' thinking across 200+ global teams
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/bio)
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Deep understanding of ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Experience scaling innovation labs in Fortune 500 environments
- Strong network with DARPA, CERN, or similar research institutions
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation platforms
