Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary research initiatives in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Develop and publish breakthrough papers in top-tier scientific journals
- Design scalable prototypes for commercial applications in healthcare and sustainability
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from federal and private sources
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers through our Innovation Academy
- Partner with product teams to translate research into market-ready solutions
- Present findings at global tech summits including Web Summit and CES
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Biotechnology with 5+ years research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science with >100 citations
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and quantum programming languages
- Experience securing NSF or DARPA grants
- Strong background in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation
- Proficiency with high-performance computing clusters and cloud architectures
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialized research applications
