Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy roadmap aligning with 2026 market projections and disruptive innovation trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and technology adoption forecasting using proprietary AI-driven analytics
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and venture capital firms for next-gen R&D initiatives
- Present technology vision and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology analysts to cultivate deep domain expertise
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, AR/VR, AI ethics)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in technology forecasting and scenario planning
- Strong stakeholder management experience with executive-level communication abilities
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., Quantum Computing Fundamentals, AI Strategy) or equivalent expertise
