Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026-2030 innovation horizons
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, neural interfaces) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen systems with 10x performance improvements
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups for R&D collaboration
- Present technology forecasts and adoption strategies to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build ethical frameworks for responsible deployment of advanced autonomous systems
- Manage innovation portfolios with $50M+ annual R&D budgets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching at least three breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CTO Academy)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
