Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, neural interfaces) with 5-10 year commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across product lines and client solutions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage pilot projects for breakthrough technologies with $500K+ budgets
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and ethical frameworks affecting future innovations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record implementing emerging technologies in enterprise environments
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Certifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or technology management
- Experience with agile methodologies and cross-cultural collaboration
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
