Responsibilities
- Architect long-term technology roadmaps for 2026+ horizon across quantum, AI, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with $10M+ annual R&D budget
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA to pioneer emerging technologies
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI deployment and quantum computing governance
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite and board members for multi-million dollar investment decisions
- Monitor global tech trends and geopolitical factors shaping 2026's digital infrastructure
- Secure 3-5 patents annually in frontier technology domains
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record leading successful technology transitions (e.g., AI adoption, blockchain implementation)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Published research in Nature/Science with citations >500 in technology foresight
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) for cutting-edge research
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercially deployed technologies with >1M users
- Certification in Technology Foresight from World Economic Forum or equivalent
