Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic implementation
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify first-mover advantages
- Build and manage partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Drive organizational adoption of future-ready technologies through change management
- Report on innovation KPIs and ROI of future technology investments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and disruption forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Strong background in agile development and rapid prototyping environments
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
