Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 5-7 year adoption trajectories
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate emerging solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory impacts on technology adoption
- Build cross-functional innovation task forces for rapid implementation
- Author thought leadership on future tech trends and implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology consulting or corporate innovation
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of forecasting technology market shifts
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
