Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for transformative technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration, etc.)
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging tech with business objectives and market opportunities
- Conduct competitive intelligence and scenario planning for 2026 technology landscapes
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future tech applications
- Build partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators for early-stage technology access
- Author thought leadership content and internal frameworks for technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or corporate innovation roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and translating them to business impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented future-tech strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner) a plus
