Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing, biotech integration, and autonomous systems
- Lead strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators to accelerate innovation
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for experimental technologies with 10+ year impact potential
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile methodologies for futuristic product development
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive implementation of ESG principles in all technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech ecosystems
- Proven track record in developing commercialization strategies for futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with MBA preferred
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for experimental projects
