- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for acquisition/partnership opportunities
- Present future-vision frameworks to investors and board members
- Manage cross-functional innovation labs with $10M+ annual budgets
- Author thought leadership publications on technological singularity implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or VC-backed startups
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $50M+ revenue impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Nature Futures, ACM SIGAI)
- Experience securing government grants for advanced R&D projects
