Responsibilities
- Architect and implement long-term technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $500M+ market potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley's most innovative startups and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts and innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and investors
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech practices across product development lifecycle
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing architectures against technological obsolescence
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrated impact on enterprise-scale innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, generative AI, neuromorphic systems)
- Proven track record of launching products with 7-figure+ revenue streams
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; PhD preferred
- Published research or patents in disruptive technologies (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding for experimental projects
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global stakeholder engagement
