Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, space exploration) aligned with 2026 market projections
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI tracking through 2026
- Champion ethical technology frameworks and responsible innovation practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record forecasting market trends and driving commercialization of emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience building innovation ecosystems and managing cross-functional teams
