Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential for 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and maintain a multi-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype future-focused solutions
- Perform competitive intelligence and patent analysis to position company as first-mover
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Manage external partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Author thought leadership publications on technological disruption and future-proofing strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience developing multi-year strategic roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, SWOT, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of global tech ecosystems and regulatory landscapes
