- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through federal grants and corporate partnerships
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting emerging technologies
- Mentor a team of 12+ PhD researchers and engineers in rapid prototyping cycles
- Drive patent portfolios targeting 50+ new IP filings annually
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with $10M+ budget management
- Proven track record launching at least 3 commercialized emerging tech products
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AI/ML, and climate tech convergence
- Experience securing SBIR/STTR grants and DOE/NASA partnerships
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
