Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 adoption horizons for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on future tech implications
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology portfolio management
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and tech assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record developing and implementing 5-year+ technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology, or spatial computing
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $3M with measurable ROI
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech innovation commercialization
