Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions including AR/VR interfaces and autonomous systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies in biotech, clean energy, and spatial computing
- Design scalable frameworks for ethical AI implementation and sustainable tech adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Mentor innovation teams in futures-thinking methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record developing long-term (5+ year) innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AI governance, AR/VR, or biotech convergence
- Experience with scenario planning and futures research methodologies (e.g., Delphi method)
- Strong background in agile development and rapid prototyping environments
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Demonstrated success securing R&D budgets exceeding $5M for future-focused initiatives
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or future studies
